When I feel heavy metal ... I seriously yelled "Woohoo!" in-time just by watching that scene (THE SNOGGING/FIGHT SEQUENCE WAS PERFECTLY TIMED WITH THE MUSIC!).
"That's a poodle."
I'm having an uncontrollable craving for a "Jack"/"Ianto"/"John" orgy. NOW! ... "Owen" can climb in for kicks. But, "Andy" and "Rhys" are duds.
"Gwen," "Martha," "Tosh," and myself need to ... elaborate on the major snog fest that "Gwen" and "Tosh" had a while back.
My complete horniness aside, this show is so beyond fantastically brilliant that it makes me believe that writers can still be perfect. I'm thinking about picking it up again. Now is a good time. How fucking tired am I?
I WANT SEASON ONE, AND/BUT I'M UTTERLY BROKE!
ETA: So, yesterday, when I wrote this, and, as one can easily deduct, was deliriously exhausted [so much that I (finally) slept for over nineteen hours], I didn't have the recognizance to make a "Torchwood" post without sounding like an immature, sex-crazed maniac (though, you all know that I am one). Joke. So, here it is ... Well, actually, my only qualm is that of most "Torchwood" fans; the horrid alternate-universe conversation between "Jack" and "Gwen". Like most, I start my defense with, "Never mind that fact that I'm a never-quiting 'Jack'/'Ianto' ''shipper,' but ..." ... but, even though, at the beginning of the first season, there was a "Gwen"-to-"Jack" attraction, I thought that she had realized that it was transference for Torchwood in general. And, from my eyes, "Jack's" sexually attracted to every thing that can be sexual, but I've seen him be romantically attracted to only "The Doctor" and "Rose" marginally, and "The Real Jack," "Estelle" (yes, I did have to look up her name), "Ianto," and (be it hate/love romance) "John" completely. If any thing, "Jack" was always pushing her away/to stay with "Rhys". Did the otherwise-magnificent Chris Chibnall confuse "Jack" for "Owen"? Oh, and, some one needs to tell "Gwen" that she isn't "The Doctor," "Jack" is not "Rose," and "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" is neither "The Satan Pit" or "Doomsday". Other than that, without racking my brain for days/even with that in-mind, that was the best season premiere that I've ever seen.
Non-"Torchwood": How giddy I am that Sisto and Roache have joined the already-stellar cast and crew of "Law & Order" is disturbing.
Is it pretty?
